| From AIS Bulletin #269 April 1988 Introducing SMELL THE ROSES (SDB) 13", E-L. Third Charm X Baby Blessed. Medium violetblue blended deeper rosy violet at hafts; hlue beards. It does smell just like roses, everyone that has smelled it has agreed. What a potent rose perfume it is too! Probably the strongest, fastest increasing iris I've ever grown. In just two years from the time it was still a seed, it had over 100 increases! A super strong rebloomer, too, starting in early September. $10.00. Moonshine Gardens. |

- SDB 'Smell The Roses' was blooming at the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum, zone 4b, approximately, May 4-14, in 2017. Although it did have purple spathes, I did not see any Purple Based Foliage at the base of the leaves. -- HollyJohnson2017 -04-01 - 08 Aug 2017
