'Sunny Heart' (Alta Brown, R. 1963) Seedling# 393-8. SDB, 12" (30 cm), Early bloom. [Color Class: W1Ycm ]. Standards white; falls white, bright yellow thumbprint; beard tip light blue. ('Snow Flurry' X 'Sea O' Blue') X unknown. Brown's Iris Gard 1964. Honorable Mention 1965.

There was a major change in 1966 to the Color Classifications. 'Sunny Heart' was originally registered as a bicolor with a color class code of W4Y, but was revised to a self with a conspicuous marking, more accurately a code of W1Ycm.

From Brown’s Iris Garden catalog,1964: SUNNY HEART (A. Brown '64) # M393-8 Early 12". (Snow Flurry x Sea 0' Blue) X unknown. A clean pure white with a bright yellow thumbprint on the wide, rounded falls. The beard is light blue at the tip. Lovely and different. Net $5.00
