From AIS Bulletin #245 April 1982 Introducing THIRD WORLD (J. Weiler '82) 27 em. This very striking flower is a bitone with a color between red-violet and garnet. The startling blue-violet beards contrast well with the very dark falls. Outstanding health and vigor. Blooms heavily from very early to midseason for SDB, repeats toward the end of TB season and then reblooms in the fall from mid-October until a hard freeze.
