From AIS Bulletin #321 April 2001 Introducing TICKETY BOO (Niswonger '01) Sdlg SDB 4-00: Pink Twilight X Unknown. SDB, 14" (36 cm), M. This chance pollination gave many interesting colors. This was one of the more interesting ones. Its a pinkish mauve with a shocking purple beard. It had three buds to the stalk and six stalks on a one year old plant. I lined out fourteen plants from it which may be too early to introduce it but I couldn't resist getting it into circulation. George Waters tells me that in England when things are neat and orderly, they are "tickety boo" hence the name for this plant that has those characteristics. $15.00. Cape Iris. |

- Our Tickety Boo opened with 5-way symmetry and intenser color than the others pictured here. We live in Seattle, Washington. This was planted from a rhizome received last summer. It opened 4/25/13. Here's a picture.
I'd be interested in hearing whether anyone else's Tickety Boo has been polytepal like ours. --
