1983/84, Blyth

'Tiger Beau' (Paul Blyth, R. 1983). Seedling# 1-11-1. SDB, 12-14" (30-36 cm), Midseason to midseason late bloom. Patina gold with deep ruby red signal over 2/3rds of falls; lilac blue beard. 'Dragon Baby' X 'Irish Sea'. Tempo Two 1983/84

From Tempo Two catalog, 1983: TIGER BEAU (Paul Blyth '83 Aust.) M -ML 12" Sdlg. 1-11-1 SOB. Quite avibrant little Iris making a terrific clump. Colour is basically patina gold with deep ruby signals over 2/3rds of falls, then to set it all off, bushy lilac blue beards. (Dragon Baby x Irish Sea). $6.00.
