'Velvet Caper' (Bee Warburton, R. 1963). Seedling #13E360. SDB, 12" (30 cm), Early bloom. Color Class-V3D, Standards deep purple; falls very dark purple; deep purple beards. ('Black Forest' x yellow pumila seedling) X 'Red Dandy'. Raleigh Hills, Old Brook 1964. Honorable Mention 1965.
