1978, Schreiner

'Yo-Yo' (Schreiner, R. 1978). Seedling #G 1583-4. SDB, 14" (36 cm), Early bloom. Standards light lavender; falls lavender with small deep purple spot; lemon to lavender beard. Parentage unknown. Schreiner 1978. Honorable Mention 1981.

From the 1978 Schreiner’s Iris Lover's Catalog: YO-YO (Schreiner 1978) 14" - This flower’s pumila spots are indeed intriguing. We selected Yo-Yo precisely because its spot pattern is smaller than others. Its midnight-purple spots create a cadenced rhythm by repeating on each fall. Very original. $5.00
