From Windwood Gardens catalog, 2008: BAND OF ANGELS (1996) 31" M-L. tet. Perfect spear-like foliage and mid blue-purple flowers with a large creamy-yellow blaze and a clear creamy band around the falls. The tailored flowers are relatively flat with down-turned tips on the falls, but notably full because of overlapping parts. Standards and stylearms have some redder tones. One branch with 3-4 buds. Extremely fertile for a tetraploid. HM 1999. $5.00 |
