From AIS Bulletin #305 April 1997 Introducing BLACKBERRY JUBILEE - SIBERIAN. Schafer/Sacks (Seedling No.S90-38-2), 36", M-L. This is an iris for people who like large happy flowers. The color is dappled and marbled in many shades of redviolet, reminiscent of crushed blackberries. The stylearms are a lovely contrasting shade of sky blue, interestingly blushed and edged in red-violet. All parts of the flower are large, wide, and ruffled and are carried on straight, tall, strong stalks, well above the foliage, with four buds per stalk. HC 1996. Trim The Velvet X S87-10-1: (Mad Magenta x Percheron). $30.00. Joe Pye Weed's Garden. |
