From Fairmount Gardens catalog, 1967: CLARET (Wiswell 1966) M. L. The name is most descriptive of this unusual and lovely Siberian Iris. The flowers have firmly held upright standards and full semi flaring falls.The whole effect is a claret self with a gold and white haft. This accents the distinctive color. Moderate in height and free flowering it is a gem for any collection. Red Emperor x Dorothea K. Williamson. 24 in. $8.00
