'Contrast In Styles' (Robert Hollingworth, R. 1989). Seedling 82F3C18. SIB, 28" (71 cm), Midseason bloom. Standards mid-wine, blue center line; light milky blue style arms; Falls bright mid wine red, milky blue band shading into white blaze. Seedling 79N2: ( 'Starsteps' x 'New Wine') X seedling 79P3: ('Polly Dodge' x 'Anniversary'). Windwood Gardens 1989. High Commendation 1987; Honorable Mention 1991, Award of Merit 1995.

From Windwood Gardens catalog, 2008: CONTRAST IN STYLES (1989) 28" M dip. Bright mid wine-red falls with a milky blue band shading into the white blaze. Standards mid-wine with blue central line. I branch, 3 buds in the terminal. Desirable succession of flower stalks. AM 1995. $5.00
