'Fond Revelation' ( Mattie Reinhardt, R. 1974) Seedling S73-2. SIB, 24" (61 cm), Midseason bloom. Standards light blue with medium blue midrib stripe; Falls medium blue with dark blue ray halo. 'White Swirl' X McGarvey seedling Reinhardt 1976. Honorable Mention 1977.

From AIS Bulletin #224 Winter 1977 Introducing FOND REVELATION-SIB, 24". (White Swirl X Super Ego sdlg.). A NEW LOOK. S. wide, rounded, light blue with medium blue midribs flushed at the base. F. very large, rounded, flared, medium blue right base of petal with dark blue halo ray. 3/4" wide stylearms. Light blue with turquoise veining. A real eye catcher. SOLD OUT FOR 1977. Reinhardt's Iris Garden.
