1970, McEwen

'Fourfold White' (Currier McEwen, R. 1969). Seedling T 66/79A. SIB, 36" (91 cm), Midseason to late bloom. Color Class-W1, White self, yellow haft (138). Seedling T1 61/Cas 4 (4) ('White Swirl' x unknown) X seedling T1 61/Cas 22 (2) ('Snowy Egret' x unknown). Second generation tetraploid. McEwen 1970. Honorable Mention 1972.

From AIS Bulletin #198 July 1970 Introducing FOURFOLD WHITE. 36". EM to L. 6" in diameter. All segments are pure white save for a bright yellow blaze with no visible haft striations. The wax-like falls flare horizontally. Excellent foliage. Fertile both ways. Derived from induced seedlings involving White Swirl and Snowy Egret. Currier MEwen.
