■(SIB) 'Hail To The Chief'

2012, Hollingworth

'Hail To The Chief' (Robert Hollingworth, R. 2012) Seedling O5S2B5. SIB (tetraploid), 33" (84 cm). Early to midseason bloom. Standards mid red-violet; style arms light red-violet, blue midrib, flounced; falls mid red-violet, blue halo around signal; signal large, creamy, veined blue; heavily ruffled, can rebloom. Seedling O2B3B11: ('Ruffles and Flourishes' x 'Blueberry Fair') X seedling O2A8A18: ('Lavender Fair' x 'Blueberry Fair'). Ensata 2012. Honorable Mention 2015, Award of Merit 2018.
