From Longfield Iris Farm catalog, 1934: Kingfisher Blue (Wallace, 1924). One of the tallest of the sibericas, bearing exceptionallyy large flowers on stems of over four feet. Very bright sky blue, lighter and brighter in shade than Perry's Blue, with much broader F. and less reticulated. $0.25.
