'Kobana' "Iris sanguinea "Kobana" (15-18 in.) Flowers slightly smaller than in the species, white, palest purple veins. Standards narrow cupped." We-du Gardens 1990 catalog. Also 'Kobana' a form distributed by Jean Witt from Japanese source which is not purple veined and its name is thought to refer to the narrow blades of the falls--Jean Witt. Iris sanguinea Hornem ex Donn.
