'Maurice Pope' ( John White, R. 1993). Seedling 2. SIB, 36" (91 cm), Early midseason bloom. Standards dark violet (RHS 86A); style arms red violet (83C to 77A); Falls dark violet (86A) with greenish hafts, white signal. 'Janet K. Merrill' X 'Shirley Pope'. Pope's Perennials 1996.
