'Mountain Lake' ( Charles Gersdorff, R. 1933), SIB. Midseason late bloom. Color Class-B1M. 'Blue King' x 'Perry's Blue'. Honorable Mention 1942, Award of Merit 1944.

From Fairmount Gardens catalog, 1938/39: MOUNTAIN LAKE (Gersdorff 1938) A delightful clear medium blue self with semi-erect standards and flaring falls which are slightly ruffled at the edge. The center of the flower and styles are lighter blue. The flower has a crisp, cool appearance that is most effective in the garden. $5.00.
