1979, Varner

'New Wine' ( Steve Varner, R. 1974). Seedling 1133. SIB, 35" (89 cm), Midseason late bloom. Wine red, slightly deeper on edge of Falls; aqua blue style arms. 'Jimmy's Gem' X Sensenbach #14. Illini Iris 1979. Honorable Mention 1981.

Stds. rosy wine-red; falls rich wine, slightly deeper at edges. Stylearms aqua-blue with deeper center rib. Limited stock. $35.00. Illini Iris.
