From AIS Bulletin #305 April 1997 Introducing RIVERDANCE - SIBERIAN. Schafer/Sacks (Seedling No. S90-13-1), 40-45", M. Stunning rich blue flowers are energized by large rolling ruffles, a lively sprinkling of white on the fall shoulders, and white wire edges on the falls and stylearms. And, as a clump its form is every bit as dynamic as the dance it is named for. Plentiful stalks, with four to five buds each, create a unique display with taller stalks in the center of the clump than those on the sides. Winner of the Best Seedling Award at the 1996 Siberian Convention. HC, 1996. (Forrest McCord X Jaybird). $30.00. Joe Pye Weed's Garden. |
