'Serenade In Blue' ( Kenneth Waite, R. 1988) Seedling WS-73-1B. SIB (28 chrom. diploid), 34" (86 cm), Midseason bloom. Violet blue (RHS 92A), yellow signal blending to white; flaring and slightly ruffled Falls; turquoise style arms. 'Sally Kerlin' X 'Cambridge'. Tow Path Lane Gardens 1988. Honorable Mention 1990.

From AIS Bulletin #269 April 1988 Introducing SERENADE IN BLUE (K. Waite '88) Sdlg. WS-73-lB. Siberian, 34", M. (Sally Kerlin X Cambridge). Light violet-blue (RHS 92A). Turquoise style anns that almost cover yellow and white signal. Sturdy stalks with one or two branches, 3 to 4 buds. Flared and slightly ruffled. Dark green foliage that remains attractive all summer. $25.00. Tow Path Lane Gardens.
