1982, Varner

'Silver Bird' ( Steve Varner, R. 1981) Seedling V8106. SIB (28 chrom. diploid), 34" (86 cm), Midseason late bloom. Very deep royal blue with slight purple overcast, tiny silver edge on Falls; aqua purple style arms. 'Maranatha' X 'Steve'. Illini Iris 1982. Honorable Mention 1884.
