2007, Schafer/Sacks

'Sound and Spirit' ( Marty Schafer and Jan Sacks, R. 2007). Seedling S00-47-2. SIB, height 35" (89 cm), Midseason bloom. Standards white; style arms pale yellow, darker tips; Falls washed orchid pink (RHS 186D) veined darker, diffused wide yellow rim (13D), signal small yellow to gold, veined orchid pink. 'Gentle Lass' X 'Crème Caramel'. Joe Pye Weed 2007.

  • SIB 'Sound And Sprit' was blooming at the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum, zone 4b, approximately, June 3-13, in 2017. I also noticed that there is some red-brown color on the spathes, but no Purple Based Foliage at the base of the leaves. -- HollyJohnson2017-04-01 - 10 Aug 2017
