From Joe Pye Weed catalog, 2002: SPORTING CHANCE - SIBERIAN. Schafer/Sacks (Seedling No. SP94-58-1), 26", E-M. A siberian with showy creamy to yellow variegation in the foliage. Buyer beware - the variegation is unstable and changes from fan to fan. Occasionally a fan reverts to all green - you will have a sporting chance at a nicely variegated plant as we will only ship the best variegation. The plant is extremely vigorous, coming from two species parents. Lest we forget, the flowers are small, simple, blue violet and white and are produced in profusion. Up to six blooms per stalk. The flowers are held well above the decorative foliage. I.sanguinea nana alba X Snow Prince. $30.00 |
