2006, Smith

'Star Lion' (Marky Smith, R. 2004). Seedling S99-23A. SIB, 29" (74 cm). Early to late bloom. Stardards warm orchid lavender (RHS 84C) with darker (84A) texture veins; style arms pale lavender (85D), darker blue midrib, topped by thin red violet ruffle and ruffled crest; falls royal violet centers and left side of fall (86B) with wide 1/2" dark mulberry (77A) shoulder and rim on right side of petal, narrow matching shoulder on left, dashed white signal; ruffled. 'Ali'i' X Blackberry Jubilee. Aitken 2006. Honorable Mention 2010.
