References:

From Sunnybrook Farms Iris Gardens catalog 1917: SIBIRICA, SUNNYBROOK — This is a cross between the two Sibirica Orientalis irises, Blue King and Snow Queen, with the taller growth, larger flowers and spreading falls of the latter, but the flowers are of the exquisite shade of greyish blue known as Alice blue, a most rare color in the garden. The plant is very vigorous and increases rapidly and carries many flower stalks.
