'Abbeville Red'/'Abbeville Red Fulva' Louisiana Iris, (Collected clone, appears in several parentages circa 1940, unregistered species). The name given to collected I. fulva-like plants from Abbeville, Louisiana. First publicized by Professor Ira Nelson, later described as the new species by Randolph. (Iris nelsoniiRandolph]]).
