'Biflora' (
Dicksons and Company, 1794). DB. Early bloom. Color Class-B1M; 2-or3-flowered. Flowers of a purple violet; falls, undulate, hafts striped with white: from the base to the middle of the blade, beard a close line of white hairs, tipped with violet, and towards the end nearly altogether violet: standards erect or bent a little inwards at the top, considerably broader than the falls, much more undulate and crumpled, all notched at the point, ovately oval, very much attenuated at the base, the margins curved inwards, of a pale brown, striped with darker brown.
