'Bohemica' (L. Fitz Randolph, Turda, Romania). Collection 61-56A. "Lighter and brighter violet than most other aphyllas, some years having a soft bluish cast. Very short, seldom exceeding 13" heavily budded, more than any other Iris aphylla we grow, often having 12-13 buds on a multi-branched stalk, with as many as 6 open at a time."-Adamgrove catalog 1989.
