YYYY, Hybridizer

'Bukko Form' "One of the most graceful of irises, and quite vigorous once established. Similar to Iris gracilipes 'Alba', but smaller in all parts. Foliage particular narrow and attractive" --We-Du Nurseries 1988 catalogue. Leaves measure 0.40 cm wide and 14 cm long as opposed to typical white form with 0.65 cm width and 19 cm length.--Barbara Schmieder; From Bukko Mt. Iris gracilipes A. Gray.
