versicolor ), 25" (64 cm). Midseason bloom. Standards. white with pale rose veining which fades toward edge, yellow in heart; style arms white flushed pale rose, narrow rose midline, yellow in heart; falls white, heavily veined rose (RHS 72A/B), inconspicuous yellow signal striped dark rose. Parentage unknown. Joe Pye Weed 1991. Honorable Mention 1994;

From AIS Bulletin #281 April 1991 Introducing CANDYSTRIPER-VERSICOLOR. Warburton (Seedling No. V-22), 25", M. Delicate rose-pink veining throughout standards and falls distinguishes Candystriper from all other versicolors. The signals are yellow but not prominent and the styles are pearly with a pink stripe and have rose highlights on the style curls. Parentage unknown. 20.00. Joe Pye Weed's Garden. |
