(Mobayen, before 1981). Section Iris. Iris caspica Mobayen. The picture in Flore L'Iran, en couleur naturelle, from Department Botanique, B. P. 13-116 Teheran, Iran, (1981) with De L'Organisation de la Protection de L'environnement by A. Ghahreman shows a dwarf bearded species with an unusual pearly pink color. This iris would probably be assigned to Iris imbricata
, and if so, comes closest to the "form" 'Talischii'. [Without further information it is difficult to say this may not be a new species but we have temporarily placed it in Iris imbricata
