Barbara and David Schmieder, R. 2009). Seedling #01CR-74-1. SPEC (cristata), 5.5" (14 cm). Late midseason bloom. Style arms violet blue (RHS 91B); falls violet blue (94 C), darker (89C) bordering signal, signal white, contains 7/8 inch strip of 2 mostly white edge crests and 1 yellow orange (20A) central crest; no Standards, 6 falls, 6 style arms, well formed but imperfectly placed. Parentage unknown. Joe Pye Weed 2010.

Barbara and David gave this iris the perfect name as it has six light blue-violet falls and six to nine pearly blue styles. No standards!
