'Florentina purpurea' (Introduced by
Robert & J. Farquhar, before 1907). TB; height 24" (60 cm), "Standards light violet, olive to honey yellow at base, reticulated with army brown; falls hyacinth violet fading to soft bluish violet edge, veined with army brown and hyacinth violet on the outer haft, brownish on the bronzed yellowish inner haft beard yellow"-"This blue form often appears in large plantings of Florentina"-Cornell Univ.
