2014, Perkins
'Ice Whisper' ( Karen Perkins, R. 2014) Seedling #5. SPEC (odaesanensis), 7" (18 cm). Midseason bloom. Standards very pale purple (RHS 85D); style arms and falls same; yellow signal, medium brown halo. I. odaesanensis parents collected by D Probst in South Korea in 1997. Joe Pye Weed 2013.

This time it does not come directly from Korea, but from his own breeding efforts to pull a hint of purple from one of his collected clones. Fine grower and bloomer. Introduced in 2014 by Garden Vision Epimediums. Potted. $22.00 |
