1994, Tankesley-Clarke 'Lemperg Purple' ( Eric and Bob Tankesley-Clarke, R. 1994) SPEC, 20-22" (51-56 cm). Midseason bloom. Deep purple, falls slightly deeper; beards white, orange in throat; pronounced sweet fragrance. Origin unknown; distributed by Hanselmayer from the Lemperg-Mayr-Melnhof collection, Frohnleiten, Austria, prior to 1960; in commerce as I. croatica C2. distributed prior to 1960.
