Section Pseudoregelia. Height 6-16" (15-35 cm); Flowers violet; dissected yellow crest. Lingelsheim in Fedd. Repert. Sp. Nov. Beih. 12:325. 1922. Collected by Limpricht in 1922. Originally placed by Mathew in subgenus Nepalensis but Dr. David Cutler of Kew suggests this should be transferred to section Pseudoregelia-Botanical Journal of the Linnaean Society, 90: 253- 303. 1985.
