Subgenus Scorpiris, (Juno); Height 2-4" (5-10 cm); 1 to 2 small flowers, perianth tube 4 cm long, Standards 3 lobed, yellow, about 1 cm long; Falls darker yellow with white dissected or toothed crest; The haft of the falls 6 mm. wide unwinged and parallel margins. Leaves narrow (4-7 mm. wide). internodes visible. Bull. J. Bot. Pet. 5, 159. 1905.
