Alekesi Vvedensky, 1935, Mountains of Central Asia especialy circa Samarakand);
Subgenus Scorpiris (Juno); 12-24" (30-60 cm); 3-7 large pale lilac flowers, yellow zone around undissected whitish crest; internodes well developed at flowering time; claw 2 to 2.5 cm. wide in its broadened part. Vved. in Komarov, Fl. URSS 4, 571 (1935);
