'Ostankino' Останкино (Sergey Loktev, R. 2010) Seedling #D-34. SPEC (versicolor), 40" (102 cm). Early to late bloom. Standards violet; style arms light yellow-beetroot blend, violet midribs, blue crests; falls violet, lighter on lower petal, white area patterned violet around lemon signal. Parentage unknown; seed from SIGNA.

Translation: Останкино = district of Moscow, TV center and Museum-manor in Moscow.

Translation note: The Ostankino Tower was the tallest free-standing structure from 1967-1976, taller than the Empire State Building.
