'Purple Gem' ( C. G. Van Tubergen). Reticulata Section; 4 3/4 (11-12 cm), Flower diameter 3" (7-8 cm), standards pansy-violet (033), falls plum-purple (934), Blotch purple on white ground. ( 'Iris bakeriana' Foster seedling) KAVB. See SIGNA p.1768. Iris bakeriana Foster.
