'Regal' (Perry's Hardy Plant Farm, R. 1960). Section Limniris, Series Laevigatae, height 27" (70 cm), Late bloom season. RIV.Rose-pink self. Laevigata types involving Rose Queen [not the Iris ensata 'Rose Queen']. Perry Plant Farm 1947. "From England. Rose magenta flowers. Three falls (single). falls flaring; standards smaller, upright,"-- Lauries Garden, from 1992 catalog. Very similar to ‘Goshobeni'. Award of Merit by Royal Horticultural Society. Iris laevigata Fischer. See below:
