2007, Davidson by Lankow

'Sun Moon Lake' ( B. LeRoy Davidson, deceased, by Carla Lankow, R. 2005) SPEC (tectorum), 23" (58 cm), Midseason bloom. Violet blue (RHS 93C) self, style arms lighter at edges, falls dark violet (83A/B) spots, very large white crest spotted purple. Collected near Sun Moon Lake, Taiwan. Aitken, Wildwood Gardens 2007. Honorable Mention 2011; Award of Merit 2014.
