'Suslik' (John Burton II, R. 1995). Seedling #CP4. SPEC (Iris pumila), 4.5" (11 cm), Early bloom. Dark red violet, deeper around very bushy blue violet to blue beard, gold in throat; style arms red violet. SIGNA seed (87-A-372) collected by Rodionenko, North Caucasus. John & Lucy Burton 1996. Honorable Mention 2000; Award of Merit 2002.
