■(SPEC) Iris verna L. var. smalliana Fernald see 'Vernamont'

'Smalliana' (Meritt Lyndon Fernald, 1947) A variety of Iris verna originally described in Addisonia as the Mountan form ( 'Vernamont') by Small. It was named by Fernald, Iris verna variety smalliana. But because Fernald forgot to give a Latin diagnosis, Edwards explains and gives a diagnosis.
