Subgenus Hermodactyloides . "Stem almost non-existent. Leaves 3- 4, linear, glabrous, slightly curved. 3-nerved, 1-2 mm. wide, Flowers bluish-violet. Perianth tube about same length as flower. falls slightly wider and longer than standards. A very uncertain species poorly described... Closely related to Iris kolpakowskiana Regel."-Clive Innes in
