(SPU) 'Blue Nightshade'
1957, Nies-Walker 'Blue Nightshade' ( Eric Nies - Marion Walker, R. 1956). Seedling #S-21-55. SPU height 50" (127 cm), Early to midseason bloom. Strong bluish violet self, heavily veined brown, blending to strong violet in falls center; moderately deep yellow signal. 'Color Guard' X 'Dutch Defiance'. Lyon 1957. Honorable Mention 1957.
