1957, Walker
'Driftwood' ( Marion Walker, R. 1956) Seedling #S-29-55. SPU, 54" (137 cm). Midseason bloom. Chocolate-brown, with golden-yellow flush at base of Standards and yellow glow radiating from a central deep-yellow stripe on falls which replaces the beard. 'Grace Perry Nies' X Nies seedling #51-S-25: ( 'Color Guard' x 'Cherokee Chief'). Lyon 1957. Honorable Mention 1957; Nies Award 1959.
