'Kitt Peak' ( Floyd Wickenkamp, R. 1986) Seedling #SP-79-10. SPU, 53" (135 cm). Midseason bloom. Standards medium blue violet, shading to yellow at base; falls deep blue violet, shading to chocolate brown, bright yellow signal extending in rays into brown area. 'Burnished Brass' X 'Proverb'. Shepard Iris 1987. Favorite Guest 1987; Honorable Mention 1989; Award of Merit 1994.
