'Missouri Orchid' (O. David Niswonger, R. 2006) Seedling #Sp 9-99. SPU, 38" (97 cm). Midseason bloom. Lavender self; falls hint of pink, yellow signal spreading to buff. 'Missouri Dreamland' X unknown, probably 'Rivulets Of Pink'. Cape Iris 2006. Honorable Mention 2009; Award of Merit 2011; Nies Medal 2013.

From AIS Bulletin #341 April 2006 Introducing MISSOURI ORCHID (Niswonger'06), Spuria, Sdlg. 9-99: Missouri Dreamland X Unknown (hand-pollinated, lost tag, probably Rivulets of Pink). 38" (96.5 cms.) Mid. From my line of searching for a pink spuria. It isn't pink but if you look closely at the orchid, you can almost visualize some pink in it. The gold signal blends into the orchid. Fertile both ways. $25.00. Cape Iris.
